In case anyone was wondering, Sharla found out that she has a stress fracture, and that is what has been preventing her from running. It was a sad deal, but we're glad we know what is wrong, so she can get healed and back running.

I got a Hound Dog! His name is Pepper and he's all ears. To be honest Cody is the one taking care of him but they say he's mine. He's still just a pup, but he runs like a champ. His first time out runnin they said he kept up with the lead dog for a while. Well I'm excited.

Sharla Did It!
Just this past weekend Sharla qualified for Regionals in not only one, but two events. She ran the 1500 Friday morning and ran a personal best 6 seconds faster than she had ever run before crossing the finish line in 4:25. She was only 0.3 seconds away from the all time record at SUU. Then later that day she ran the 5000 and qualified for Regionals yet again, it was so exciting! She crossed the finish line in 16:35 shattering the all time school record (she had set) by about 17 seconds. We're so proud of her. Because she qualified for Regionals she'll get to go to Eugene, Oregon and race against the best on the west coast. (I'm also proud to say she beat every BYU athlete there)

Spring Break was a lot of fun we got to do some hikes in Zion and the famous Green Valley Loop.

This was my first 400 in a long time and the first since I pulled my hamstring. Yes it's pretty slow I know but hey it's pretty. We got to go to Pocatello and compete unattached.

Our story began sometime in February of 2008. We met each other on the track team. We're both running for SUU and finishing up school. But, fate brought us together, a young lady from New Castle, UT and a city slicker from Las Vegas, NV. We were married in the St. George Temple on August 2, 2008 and have enjoyed our time together ever since.
